{"product_id":"karma-sutra_the-daydreams-of-a-production-line-worker_2025_dif","title":"The Daydreams Of A Production Line Worker","description":"Karma Sutra had been active for five years before releasing their sole album, The Daydreams of a Production Line Worker, in 1987 on their own label, Paradoxical Records. Before that, the band had only released a few demos and compilation tracks via Mortarhate. In the studio, their sound evolved: beyond raw anarcho-punk, they incorporated post-punk textures, dark atmospheres, and more accomplished songwriting, to deliver a resolutely political and singular concept album. Recorded at Vibrasound Studio in Sheffield and co-produced by Spon (UK Decay), the album addresses themes such as social class, gender, confinement, culture, and capitalism, from a Situationist-inspired perspective. Largely ignored upon its release, it is now considered a cult album, in the vein of Chumbawamba, The Mob, or Thatcher on Acid. This re-release includes a complete reproduction of the original 28-page booklet, essential for grasping the full conceptual scope of the project.","brand":"Karma Sutra","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55307624153432,"sku":null,"price":23633173.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/5056321697905.jpg?v=1765823569","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/karma-sutra_the-daydreams-of-a-production-line-worker_2025_dif","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
