From this treasure, Supraphon has selected a repertoire on 15 CDs, featuring works for which studio recordings were not made; this repertoire spans a wide range from Mozart to the works of Ancerl's contemporaries. The recordings include masterpieces by Dvořák (Symphonies No. 7 and 8, Biblical Songs) and Suk (Asrael, Maturation), music by composers admired and promoted by Ancerl (Martinů Symphony No. 1 and Kabeláč Symphony No. 5), and major works from the 20th-century global repertoire (Debussy, Ravel, Strauss, Prokofiev, etc.).
