{"product_id":"jules-reidy_clerestorymetallic-gold-vinyl_2026","title":"CLERESTORY\/METALLIC GOLD VINYL","description":"A clerestory – a level or a bright or \"open\" floor – is the upper part of a wall, most often in a church, pierced with windows. It is a striking image to grasp the luminous new music of Jules Reidy. Light casts shadows, of course, and the logics of shadow, mirror, and distorted reflection – essential to Reidy's work as a whole – permeate the sumptuous surfaces of \"Clerestory.\" \"Shadow Symmetric\" is a string quartet commissioned and performed by the JACK Quartet as part of their JACK Studio program. Reidy's collaboration with this quartet is timely: JACK is one of the most important contemporary music ensembles, with a particular interest in natural tuning, an essential component of Reidy's music. \"Clerestory Windows\" offers a distorted mirror image of the string quartet, arranged in a series of episodes, each reinventing the material in its own way. Clerestory is a meditation on the fundamental dynamics of human experience: orientation and disorientation, the blurred boundaries between the material and the spiritual, and the instability of identity.","brand":"Jules Reidy","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58079074156888,"sku":null,"price":23256439.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0790377066319.jpg?v=1787265045","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/jules-reidy_clerestorymetallic-gold-vinyl_2026","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
