I felt great joy and deep love listening to it. Later in the summer, another vireo appeared, and both flew away. The first one disappeared for a while, then one morning, while I was outside, it returned to the nearby tree and sang before it and its friend swirled in the air and left again on their long journey back to South America. \"Sightings\" is an eclectic journey that seamlessly blends electronic and organic instruments. True to Jarboe's reputation as the \"avant-garde queen of unreality\" (The Wire), the album features a wide variety of musicians and soundscapes that oscillate between the dreamy and ethereal and bold experimentation.
