I have been making music for 15 years now, and I feel really lucky to have released 5 albums, numerous EPs and singles, contributed to several film soundtracks, and collaborated with people much more talented than myself. Beast Epic is filled with this idea but in a different way because I have been able to accumulate several experiences that have shaped me today. Where my old songs painted the picture of youth transitioning into adulthood and all the guilty pleasures and disappointments that come with it; Beast Epic speaks of the beauty and pain of growing up and moving forward in life. For me, this phase of life has been more generous in its gifts and darker in its tragedies. The sound of Beast Epic also recalls the older albums, obviously. Over the years, I have enjoyed testing different genres, different acoustics, and different writing styles, and all that distance traveled is evident in the emotion and arrangements here, but the muscles seem to have relaxed and do what they do best effortlessly.
