{"product_id":"gabriel-faure_quatuors-avec-piano_2014","title":"Quatuors avec piano","description":"The Giardini piano quartet was born from the coming together of four artists who share deep affinities: after more than ten years of musical and human complicity, Caroline Donin and Pauline Buet on one side, and Pascal Monlong and David Violi on the other, have joined forces to explore a repertoire that has long held a special place in each of their hearts. Beyond their love of music and their friendship, they approach this piano quartet repertoire with both high standards and enthusiasm. Giardini performs the most renowned quartets, but also invests in the rediscovery of a little-known repertoire, working notably alongside the Palazzetto Bru Zane - Centre de musique romantique française. In this way, it champions lesser-performed composers such as Félicien David, Théodore Dubois, as well as Marie Jaëll and Mel Bonis... composers doubly neglected by posterity because they were women. Since its creation, the quartet has already performed on stages in Paris, Berlin, Shanghai, Beijing, Bologna, Rome, Stockholm,... “We were struck by the romantic sweep of Mel Bonis’s life and moved by her sensitivity. In her music, we found an echo of the passionate impulses of Fauré’s youth.” Quatuor Giardini A highly anticipated first recording!","brand":"Gabriel Fauré","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58783186157912,"sku":null,"price":22931685.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/3149028062328.jpg?v=1791934016","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/gabriel-faure_quatuors-avec-piano_2014","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
