While the band's identity has long been linked to a life of debauchery, their perspective on it has evolved. Partially because they've matured, and also because Carper was recently diagnosed as bipolar, which helped him understand his past behaviors and feelings, especially when making music. Overall, the band has grown; they are no longer the young hedonists they were at their beginnings. Yet, their concerts are wilder than ever, with a young audience electrified by the carefree abandon that FIDLAR has always championed. It is this burning spirit that drives SURVIVING THE DREAM: debauchery, angst, recklessness, and questions of belonging that, deep down, have always been ageless.
