The spirit of Django Reinhardt guides Fapy Lafertin’s playing, his choruses of rare elegance and precision, his incomparable rhythmic drive, making him a continuator rather than a mere heir to the master. Reissued in 2012 by Lejazzetal, this expanded and remastered version presents “Swing Guitar” and “Hungaria,” recorded under pre-war conditions (live take in a circle around a 1930s microphone), in a production by Dave Kelbie, a key figure, iconoclastic guitarist and undoubtedly the greatest producer of the genre (Evan Christopher's Django à la Créole, Tcha Limberger,.). Essential to the record collection of any jazz lover.","brand":"Fapy Lafertin","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58806307193176,"sku":null,"price":23108968.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/fapy-lafertin_le-jazz-94-96-the-recordings-coffret-inclus-livret-24-pages_2016","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
