{"product_id":"evanescence_synthesis_2017_son_1","title":"Synthesis","description":"Evanescence is back with Synthesis, their 4th and most ambitious album set for release on November 10, 2017. The album includes new versions of some Evanescence hits, reworked with a symphonic orchestra in addition to the band and the virtuoso Amy Lee on vocals and piano. Amy Lee, the lead singer, songwriter, and pianist, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Troy McLawhorn, and guitarist Jen Majura worked on Synthesis, with producers Will Hunt and David Campbell (orchestral arranger and composer). Two new tracks have emerged from this collaboration, Imperfection, the first of the two will be available on September 15. The band also invited on this album, Lindsey Stirling, the famous violinist for the 2nd new song of the album, 'Hi-Lo'. For Amy Lee, 'Imperfection' is \"the most important song on the album. For a while, writing the lyrics for this song was not easy. Indeed, I felt the pressure to live up to the work and I didn't really know what to say or how to meet the expectations. When it finally came together, it was undeniable. I had no choice. It's for all the people we have lost, all the people we could lose to suicide or depression. When I sing, I sing as if I were an excluded person, a person in the waiting room. It's a call to fight for your life, to stay. Don't succumb to fear - I force myself to repeat it every day. No one is perfect. We are all imperfect and it is precisely these imperfections that make us the people we are. We must embrace them and be proud of them because there is so much beauty in these differences. Life is worth fighting for. You deserve to be fought for.\" \"The album is an exciting project for me. There are so many levels of depth in our music beneath the strong drums and guitars,\" explains Amy Lee of Evanescence. \"I have always wanted to highlight some arrangements by David Campbell and the matrix elements of our songs. This idea led to completely reworking them with a full orchestra, not just strings, elaborate technical programming, and experimentation. This is the first time we are going on tour with a symphonic orchestra. I am very excited about giving a concert with this configuration focused on voices, on emotion, and on the story we have built over the years. I am also very excited about the new content of this album. Apart from these two new songs, there are very beautiful instrumentals between the tracks. It all resonates like a vast and dynamic soundtrack.\" The standard edition is now available for pre-order in two formats, CD and digital, as well as a limited Deluxe edition of the album which includes the CD, a documentary DVD on the making of the album, mixes in 5.1 audio format, and a book containing the orchestral scores composed by David Campbell. 2017 is shaping up to be one of the most important years for EVANESCENCE, who also confirmed that their tour will continue in the UK and Europe in March 2018. The band will travel with a symphonic orchestra and a set of electronic instruments, guaranteed to deliver a transcendent live experience.","brand":"Evanescence","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57687627301208,"sku":null,"price":23528914.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/evanescence_synthesis_2017_son_1","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
