{"product_id":"elvis-presley_from-elvis-in-nashville_2020_son","title":"From Elvis In Nashville","description":"“From Elvis in Nashville” includes 40 tracks from the June and September 1970 RCA Studio B sessions – presented here without the original overdubs to transport the listener as if they were in Studio B – as well as rare and unreleased takes, all recently mixed by renowned sound engineer Matt Ross-Spang (John Prine, Jason Isbell).\nThe “marathon” sessions, which spanned five days (starting in the early evening and lasting until dawn), resulted in a wide variety of country tracks, ranging from bluegrass to honky-tonk, as well as more polished sounds and even touches of the “outlaw” sound that would soon dominate the country charts. Highlights include a soulful version of Willie Nelson’s “Funny How Time Slips Away,” the moving “I’ve Lost You,” a powerful cover of Simon \u0026 Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and a new version of “Love Letters,” which Presley had previously recorded in 1966. Following the Las Vegas concerts, the King briefly reappeared at Studio B at the end of September. However, these sessions were not as fruitful as those in June, with the wild version of “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” being one of the standout moments.","brand":"Elvis Presley","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55313186062680,"sku":null,"price":0.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0194397594218.jpg?v=1760395518","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/elvis-presley_from-elvis-in-nashville_2020_son","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
