{"product_id":"dubliners_greatest-hits_2015_zyx","title":"Greatest hits","description":"For those (few) who didn't know, The Dubliners is an Irish folk group, among the oldest still active and among the most popular. The group The Dubliners formed in 1962. Its name comes from James Joyce's book Dubliners. Originally, the group was called \"The Ronnie Drew Group\". This name did not please Ronnie Drew. The name change coincided with the moment when Luke Kelly read Dubliners. The Dubliners are pioneers of Irish folk in Europe and also (to a lesser extent) in the United States. They spent the late 1960s and early 1970s touring, heavily lubricated. In 1974, Ciaran Bourke collapsed on stage following a cerebral hemorrhage. He first made a miraculous recovery, but collapsed again. His left side was paralyzed. He eventually died in 1988. The group having always hoped for his return, there was officially no 5th member until his death. Ronnie Drew died on August 16, 2008 at the age of 73 at St Vincent's Private Hospital in Dublin, after a long illness. The President of the Republic of Ireland and the Taoiseach (Prime Minister) paid tribute to him. Irish television RTÉ devoted a program to him where the other members of the group played, accompanied by the group's musician friends: The Corrs, Bono (from the band U2), Shane MacGowan (from The Pogues), Sinéad O'Connor, etc.","brand":"Dubliners","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57447893238104,"sku":null,"price":23881730.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0090204704934.jpg?v=1780613105","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/dubliners_greatest-hits_2015_zyx","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
