{"product_id":"colette-renard_ca-cest-de-la-musique-digipack_2019","title":"Ça c’est de la musique Digipack","description":"After studying cello and classical singing at the Conservatoire de Paris, she held various odd jobs, including that of secretary to Raymond Legrand (father of Michel), who, after marrying her, offered her a position as a singer in his orchestra. Despite winning a Brassens prize in Deauville, she turned towards the chanson de fantaisie, which she preferred to jazz. Her name remains associated with Irma la Douce, the musical by Marguerite Monnot and Alexandre Breffort, in which she played the lead role nearly a thousand times between 1956 and 1967. With her mischievous gaze and cheeky tone, Colette Renard gained popularity with the general public at the turn of the 50s and 60s, with popular choruses such as “Zon zon zon,” “Tais-toi, Marseille!” or “Ça c'est de la musique,” and she won the Charles Cros Academy prize twice, in 1958 and 1962. In a radically different vein, she recorded seven albums of libertine songs, initiated by Guy Breton, the author of the famous Histoires d’amour de l’Histoire de France. A bit forgotten in the 70s, the singer made a notable comeback at Bobino in 1976, as the opening act for Georges Brassens, with a repertoire by Françoise Dorin and Claude Bolling. Two years later, she received the Grand Prix du disque for an album for which she wrote a good portion of the songs herself. Retired from singing, she dedicated herself to pottery and continued to work, more or less sporadically, as a theater and television actress. She passed away in Marseille in 2010 after a long and painful illness.","brand":"Colette Renard","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58006993043800,"sku":null,"price":23175259.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/3540139870183.jpg?v=1787179432","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/colette-renard_ca-cest-de-la-musique-digipack_2019","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
