Plus, « The Brian Robertson Album », an instrumental album recorded during the same period.Scottish guitarist Brian Robertson made a name for himself in the rock world by joining Thin Lizzy in 1974. At just 18 years old, alongside lead guitarist Scott Gorham, Robertson played a key role in creating Thin Lizzy's distinctive and influential dual lead guitar sound, notably on hits like « The Boys Are Back In Town » and « Jailbreak ». After the massive success of Thin Lizzy's double album « Live And Dangerous » in 1978, Brian formed Wild Horses with Jimmy Bain, before joining Motörhead for the album « Another Perfect Day » in 1983.But it wasn't until 2011 that he recorded his first solo album, « Diamonds And Dirt », at the famous Polar Studios in Stockholm. Brian formed a band with Leif Sundlin, singer of the Michael Schenker Group, Nalle Påhlsson, bassist of Treat, and Ian Haughland, drummer of Europe. The album also features vocal contributions from Rob Lamothe, singer of Riverdogs, and Brian himself.Influenced by Free and Bad Company, the album's bluesy hard rock revisits Thin Lizzy's « Running Back » in two different versions, as well as « It's Only Money », and tracks by Frankie Miller, Brian's Scottish friend.CD2 contains « The Brian Robertson Album », a 13-track instrumental collaboration between Brian and R. Jeffrey, recorded around the same time as « Diamonds And Dirt ».The box set also includes a long, previously unpublished essay based on new interviews with Brian Robertson conducted by Rich Davenport and Thin Lizzy specialist Per Olsson.","brand":"Brian Robertson","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57482285482328,"sku":null,"price":23872932.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/brian-robertson_diamonds-and-dirt_2026_soc","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
