Three of them are original compositions by Black Stone Cherry, and three are covers reimagined by the band of songs by The Cult, Tina Turner, and Tracy Chapman. The other half of the tracks (side B of the vinyl) are live recordings, captured on various stages around the world. The band enlisted their friends John Cooper (Skillet), Ayron Jones, Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), and Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) to add backing vocals. Over the past two decades, Black Stone Cherry has redefined the standards of Southern rock, revitalizing the tradition with their powerful riffs and catchy rock melodies. Since its formation in 2001, the quartet has remained composed of Chris Robertson (vocals\/guitar), Ben Wells (guitar\/vocals), and John Fred Young on drums.
