If it happens—and that’s a big if—it does so naturally. No one knows this better than Band of Horses, whose seminal debut album, *Everything All The Time*, remains, twenty years later, as essential and, dare we say, transcendent as it was upon its release in 2006. Guitarist and vocalist Ben Bridwell formed Band of Horses in Seattle in 2004, after the nearly ten-year run of his beloved Pacific Northwest melancholic band, Carissa’s Wierd, came to an end. Carissa’s Wierd made beautiful orchestral pop, whose songs unblinkingly told stories of heartbreak and loss, tinged with disillusioned humor. Band of Horses arose from the ashes of that much-loved group, carried by Bridwell’s warm, reverb-drenched vocals and dreamlike, woodsy songs, full of tension, nostalgia, and hope. With a freshly signed deal with Sub Pop and a clutch of potent tunes, the band recorded their debut, *Everything All the Time*, with producer Phil Ek at Seattle’s Avast Studios. Both epic and raw (“The Great Salt Lake”) and delicately introspective (“St. Augustine,” “Monsters”), *Everything All The Time* is a beautifully realized album, full of nuance and fragility. This is one of the keys to Band of Horses’ genius: they create smart, classic songs, finding a perfect balance between despair and hope, calm and madness, love and fear. And, of course, there's the global hit “The Funeral,” which became an emblematic song of its era and continues to inspire new generations of fans and artists. In addition to its many uses in films and TV series, the track was sampled by Kid Cudi and transformed into a 2025 dance remix by renowned producer and multi-instrumentalist Gryffin. For the album's 20th anniversary, Sub Pop and Band of Horses are releasing a time capsule of the band from the *Everything All The Time* era. For this anniversary reissue, the album has been fully remastered, with new artwork and a gatefold package enhanced with liner notes from Phil Ek. A bonus LP accompanies the album: the 2005 tour EP, a multitude of previously unreleased studio and live tracks, as well as rarities like “The End’s Not Near” (from the *Newport Beach* series) and a demo version of “The Funeral.”","brand":"Band of Horses","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56568028103000,"sku":null,"price":23931218.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0098787173000_0d36bd0a-c755-4a00-8687-361810737be0.jpg?v=1769712133","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/band-of-horses_everything-all-the-time-20th-anniversary-edition-vinyle-jaune_2026_mdl","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
