The conceptual architecture is precise. ‘Nowhere Speaks’ opens exactly where ‘Nothing But The Whole’ (2014) left off, picking up the riff in the middle of that album's abrupt and cult conclusion, and ends with its opening riff, thus forming a deliberate loop between the two records. After the distortion-free austerity of ‘Vide’ (2021), the return to heaviness and intensity is total here. Identity dissolves across these ten tracks. Scale becomes superfluous. The music communicates not so much as it exerts pressure, advancing through sensation rather than narrative, through the awareness of something vast that neither recognizes nor welcomes the listener. Forces converge, clash, and dissolve in a way that defies all understanding, reflecting the band's central idea that nothing exists, and yet everything exists.
